Damn has it been nearly a year since I was last here. Where did the time go. Well lemme see what has happened since January
Wife had a mild heart attack and has 2 stints installed
Had 2 accidents in the car, neither of which was my fault. I was stationary both times
1. sitting in a parking lot waiting for someone and an idiot backs into my car even though I am laying on the horn
2. Sitting at a traffic light and get rear ended
So now I have a different car- 1994 Ford Probe GT. fast and great handling vehicle

As for the rest been busy working and playing around on the computer

Finally got round to updating here. Been so busy for the last few months I kept forgetting to do this. For the last few month s I have had a 2-3 month backlog of work which is finally slowing because of winter. Maybe I'll get caught up before the spring building season gets here.

Daughter lost the baby, then they told her that she is still pregnant, tubal pregnancy. So now she has to have a surgery because it is the only thing to do. Says she will try again in a few months.

Don't seem to have time for anything at present. Went to a seminar yesterday, had good time and learned a little. Dreaming of Shelly again, even though haven't seen her in a month. Damn thats way too long. I miss you.

Running a linux box finally. I had two weekends without car problems (yah). Going to put a new cd player in the car tomorrow, always some damn thing or other to do. Watching nascar, listening to celtic music and livin' in almost heaven (West Virginia) got to be the best.
Gonna be a grandfather again, my daughter just told us that she is having another baby. Austin, my grandson is happy about getting a little brother or sister. He had his first t ball game today and did ok.

love this miniseries on scifi, read the books years ago have the movie and the mini series dvd but still got to watch it on tv again
The car seems to be good finally, at least it's running and that's better than having to walk.

Still no car

Still working on the car, it's hard dropping and raising the fuel tank on your own. Got a buddy coming over tomorrow to help me get it back together. I feel if I had a horse and buggy that the wheel would fall off. Then after I fixed that the horse would drop dead. Nothing seems to go right at the present. Lol thats life.

Thats what I'll be doing tomorrow. Got to drop the fuel tank to insert a new fuel pump, damm tired of working on the car every other weekend. Want to build that linux box but got to get another hard drive, the only spare one I have is 3gig.

Car doesn't want to start so now this weekend project will be car repair. Don't think I'll get to the linux box before Sunday evening at this rate. Where does the time go? Does it ever get so you can do all the things you want to do? Doesn't seem that way to me. Seems that there is always too much that has to be done getting in the way.

Well this evening I am going to put an old box back together to see if I can use it as a linux box. Just learning linux and having fun, should have done this a long time ago. Got to get somewhere to set it up yet.
The week started well with Kevin Harvick winning both Nascar races at Bristol. I love motor racing.

Ok so I figure it's time to learn linux. Using a new cd based distro called Iccaros linux. I like some of the features but can't figure out the irc in the trillian equivalent
Anyway I'll keep trying, and hope to get it one of these days
